2024 Budget and 2023 Budget Amendment Hearing

NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED 2024 BUDGET AND 2023 BUDGET
AMENDMENT OF MOUNTAIN RECREATION METROPOLITAN DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Board of Directors of Mountain Recreation Metro District for the ensuing year of 2024. Such proposed budget will be considered at a public hearing of the Board of Directors of the District to be held at Gypsum Recreation Center, Gypsum, Colorado on November 15, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. At such public hearing the Board of Directors of the District may certify a property tax levy of approximately 3.45 mills for operations, including a mill levy credit of 0.20 mills, which may exceed the property tax limits set forth in Sections 29-1-306(2) and (3), C.R.S., and which property tax limitation would only be in effect if Proposition HH passes at the November 7, 2023, election.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that an amendment to the 2023 budget of the District
may also be considered at the above-referenced meeting and public hearing of the Board of Directors of the District. A copy of the proposed 2024 budget and the amended 2023 budget, if required, are available for public inspection at the offices of Mountain Recreation Metropolitan District, located at 450 Miller Ranch Road, Edwards, Colorado or by email request to Stimilsina@mountainrec.org. Any interested elector within the District may, at any time prior to final adoption of the 2024 budget and the amended 2023 budget, if required, file or register any objections thereto.
