- Free Autobelay Check-Off (ABC) ONLY 5:30pm-6pm | Edwards & Gypsum

Attend this free 30-minute clinic to learn how to safely and confidently use basic climbing equipment, follow auto-belay safety protocols, and clip into the auto-belays correctly. After attending, you’ll be able to use the auto-belay system during our facility’s operating hours
Requirements:
- Ages 8-13 year-olds requires parent supervision whenever child is using Auto-Belay & for the parent to pass Auto-Belay test as well
- Ages 14+ can take the test and use without adult supervision

- The Belay Test is from 7:00-7:30pm following the clinic if you would like to get checked off to use the climbing area during facility operating hours.
This 1.5-hour Belay Clinic will give you basic information and opportunities to practice belaying, and will provide you the knowledge needed to pass Mountain Recreation’s top rope belay test (will run from 7:00-7:30pm immediately following the clinic). In this clinic you will learn Auto-Belay use, climbing knots, harness use, hardware use, belaying technique, climbing communication, how to catch a fall, and how to lower a climber. This class will take place at the Edwards Field House’s climbing tower.
No equipment or prior experience necessary.

This free Belay Test is for folks to get checked off to use the climbing area during facility operating hours. There will be no instruction offered during this time.

- Must already have knowledge of how to belay and rope climb – please regiser for the $10 Belay Clinic ahead of time if you are new to rope climbing.

- Private Climbing Lessons
One-on-one coaching for individuals looking to take their climbing skills and techniques to the next level. This private lesson can be tailored to what you want to get out of it – including but not limited to: conquering a higher grade, gaining confidence in lead climbing and rappelling, or transitioning to outdoor climbing.
