Outdoor Gear Library
Welcome to our Outdoor Gear Library! We are a membership-based community organization providing residents of Eagle County with a wide array of equipment for getting out and experiencing the outdoors. Please see our list below for a sampling of some of our items. You can also check out our entire inventory right on our website. You can sign up for a membership right here, or come to the Edwards Field House or Gypsum Rec Center during gear pick-up hours for more information and to check out our whole inventory in person.
Loans are automatically checked out for one week/7 days. Please note that some items such as Paddleboards, River Tubes, Tents & Sleeping Bags have a 6-day loan, so that we can make sure they are cleaned, prepped and ready for the next member. Please double check your item’s loan length at checkout.
Donations! We would love to accept any gear that is gathering dust in your basement (as long as it is in good shape). Thanks for keeping the adventure growing!
A replacement fee will be applied to items returned over a week late.

1. When can I begin borrowing gear?
As soon as you create a membership! Gear is reserved online and picked up at one of our two pick-up days (Wednesdays in Edwards and Thursdays in Gypsum)
2. How do I create a membership?
Visit moutainrecogl.myturn.com/library. Create an account, choose your membership type, and start reserving!
3. Where can I get my gear?
Wednesdays, 4-6 p.m.: Edwards Field House, 450 Miller Ranch Road, Edwards, CO 81632
Thursdays, 4-6 p.m.: Gypsum Recreation Center, 52 Lundgren Blvd, Gypsum, CO 81637
Pick-up is only available on these days and locations.
4. When can I drop off gear?
You are able to return gear to the front desk of the Edwards Field House or Gypsum Rec Center anytime the facility is open. Please share your name with the front desk.
5. How are late fees determined?
A replacement fee will be applied to items returned over a week late. The replacement fee is what the item costs to replace. This cost is listed next to the item in our inventory.
6. What happens when my membership expires?
There is an option to automatically renew your membership.
However, you can sign back up whenever you like and begin borrowing after renewing the monthly membership fee.
7. Can I renew checked out items?
Yes, as long as an item doesn’t have an upcoming reservation, you have the option to renew after 4 days from your gear pickup date. This can be done in person or in your MyTurn account.
8. Can I make changes to a reservation after it has been made?
Yes, in your MyTurn account you can view upcoming reservations and add, subtract, or provide the gear library staff with additional information about your reservation.
