Scholarship Fund
As of January 16, 2023, there are no more funds available.
This scholarship is available to anyone who has been financially impacted due to COVID-19 — families, single adults, adult couples, seniors, whomever! Funds may be used by any adult or child. Scholarships are awarded to individuals, on a first-come first-served basis. Funds will be awarded for specific programs or activities. Awards will be determined based on individual need shown in the scholarship application below.
All scholarships are subject to availability of funds and class space. Scholarships are available annually from October through September (Oct 2020- Sep 2023) or until funds are depleted.
Please note that if you currently have Mountain Rec Scholarship funds on your account, you must first use all funds on your account before being eligible for this scholarship.

- Eligible Programs & Activities
Scholarship funds can be used for ANY Mountain Rec adult or youth program and activity. Individuals can also apply scholarship funds towards a three-month membership (youth, adult, senior, couple, senior couple, family, adult +1 child) to the Gypsum Rec Center. We invite you to browse our website for all current offerings and determine what would best suit your needs.

- Confidentiality
Mountain Recreation will use application information only for approval of scholarship funds. Strict confidentiality will be maintained at all times during the decision and registration processes. Program leaders will not be informed of a participant’s scholarship status.
