Save The Date: Camp registration opens Monday, March 4, 2019
Our Rec Kids camps are the perfect summer solution to keep the family living healthy and happy! Camps are offered June through August to ensure parents have affordable, enriching child care during the summer. Your kids will look forward to weekly themes like ninja warrior, mad scientists, superhero spectacular and the ever popular friday fun day field trips!
We do our best to accomodate a busy schedule – you can sign up for the entire week or pick days and half-days that work for you at all three of our locations. These camps are state licensed, so proper paperwork must be filled out every year in order to register.
Camps Begin: June 13th & 14th day camps (Because ECS last day of school is Wednesday, June 12th). Week-long camps start week of June 17th.
Cost: $150/week(mon-thur) | $40/day | $55/Friday Fun Days
Ages: 5-13 years old (FYI – groups will be broken into two age ranges, 5-8 yr olds and 9-13 yr olds)

- Food that requires refrigeration/microwaves

- Refund Policy
Refunds and credits will be honored prior to the start of the program. There will be no refund for missed days. $5 surcharge will apply to all refunds.
- Late Pick-Up
There will be a fee for late pick-up of your camper after 5:30pm. The fee is $1 per minute per child and this fee is due at the time of late pick-up. Any overdue fees will result in the child(ren) not being accepted into camp until it has been paid.
If your child needs to receive medication during Schools Out Camp, please complete the Medication Permission Form, available online at MountainRec.org or any Mountain Rec facility. This form must be signed by both a Parent as well as a Person with Prescriptive Authority (Medical Professional). All medicine must be kept in its original container and have a legible label stating the child’s name, directions for dosage, prescription number, name of medication, date filled and physician’s name. All unused medication will be returned to the parent/guardian at the end of each camp day, week or session. Medication must be given to the Camp Director or Lead Counselor at sign in. All medication, with exception of asthma inhalers and epinephrine pens, will be kept by the Camp Medication Administrator or locked in a secure area.
- Vending Machines | Microwaves | Refrigerators
Due to new Colorado State Licensing rule this year, children are no longer allowed to get snacks from the vending machines. Please send them with 2 or more healthy snacks each day. Campers that bring money will not be able to use the vending machine. In addition, do not send food that needs the use of a refrigerator or microwave. We are required to stay within our ratios, we do not have enough staffing to be able to warm up campers foods. When we have 30-40 kids per day at camp, we do not have the staffing or time to be able to warm up food for kids. Also, most days we will be eating our lunch outside and again, won’t have time to warm up all of the food before we go.
