A new program initiative launched in November 2018! These programs are designed to provide you with opportunities to recreate on public lands. We are still building out the programs for this new initiative so stay tuned!
- Free Snowshoe Series
Join us as we hit the trails this winter and explore the natural beauty of Eagle County. These snowshoes are open to all ages and free to attend. We do ask that you RSVP so we know how much hot chocolate and cookies to bring!
- Hot chocolate and cookies provided
- Donations will be accepted for the Vail Valley Food Pantry
- Headlamps or flashlights highly recommended for full moon snowshoes in November and December

Friday, December 21 – Full Moon Hike/Snowshoe | 6:30pm | Edwards – Miller Ranch Open Space (2 miles)
Tuesday, January 1 – First Day Hike/Snowshoe | Sylvan Lake State Park | Time/Distance: TBA
*Please note the January 1 snowshoe will be run in partnership with Sylvan Lake Park and space will be limited. RSVP info will be announced soon.
